#ComBot, a combination of chatbots for monitoring patients' quality of life. Chatbots are efficient in a given scope, but encounter limits when patients insights are complex and very personal. To capture weak signals and non-programmed information, Aliae is developping an assemblage of 3 chatbots (#ComBot) which all together lead to a better understanding of patient insights, and in a flexible and user-friendly way, ensuring a better engagement over time.

"Today, to build patient-machine dialogues with AI, there is very little data available (contrary to AI applied to medical imaging for example). Our challenge was therefore to demonstrate that it is possible to get around this constraint, which we succeeded in doing with techniques called "paraphrasing". This is a natural language processing task that consists in generating new samples of dialogues that feed our learning system so that it interacts better, and in a personalized way for the patient. "
